Spring is Springing

We weren't here in LA at this time last year, so this is the first we've witnessed of the explosion of color that comes in the "springtime". Are we not still in February? Really, LA. You are ridiculous.

I must say, I am impressed, and from what I hear this is only a taste of what's to come.

A Year (And a Bit)

It's dawned on all of us recently that we've been here for a whole year... in fact just about this time last year Chad and I were gearing up to travel back to Seattle for the Diary of Anne Frank. It's pretty astonishing to think back on everything that has happened over the past year, good and bad, and also to see where we've come since then (also good and bad)

It hasn't been all roses, but it has been a journey and an adventure (yes, those are two different things to me!) I must say that I am pretty happy with where I am right now, and those things I mentioned at the beginning of the new year about having a better outlook and not giving in to negativity have been coming along slowly but surely. I love my job, I love being in a play again, I love being healthy, I love being on good terms with friends, I love having a husband who is there for me 100% even when I am not at my best and a family who supports me all the way. I have a lot to be thankful for in this world, and I love that I am committing myself to appreciating it all!

So here's to a year in LA gone by, and another year to come which I hope to live to the fullest.
