What a weekend!
The happy couple, ALC and Mike! First, our friends Anna-Lisa and Mike got married in Wenatchee. Truly a beautifuly day, on all counts! Warm & sunny, great friends (including folks from Western we haven't seen in years), great wine, great food, great music (including a bluegrass band and, yes, an accordian player.) It was quite a wedding!
Mike also arranged a special surprise for Anna-Lisa:
If you can't quite read it, it says "Mike loves Anna-Lisa". We all pretty much died when that plane showed up. Who does that??!?!? Apparently, Mike.

Sunday was another big event, Kristen & Kyle's baby shower--they are expecting their first little boy or girl October 1st! It was such a blessing to shower them with love and gifts for their little one and to see all the ladies there to support them. There was much oohing and ahhing, especially over the many handmade gifts--we have some pretty talented & crafty chicks in our family. Crafty in a good way, not as in a sneaky way. ;-)
I can't wait to meet our new little cousin!

it was so great to see you yesterday at the shower, lindsay! thanks again for the awesome toddler t-shirt. i'm looking forward to seeing you (and spending more time actually hearing about your summer, etc.) at the next family get-together.
