The new headshots are here (for both Chad and I) and we are pretty pleased with them! Our photography, Molly Hawkey, was just fantastic and did a great job putting us at ease and getting brilliant shots out of us. She's also an actor and an improviser, and by some strange twist of fate she is in the same improv group as my good friend & fellow improviser from WWU, Dave. What are the odds!
After weeding through 250+ photos I am thoroughly sick of looking at myself, but at least we are closer to some final choices. We just sent them off to our agents as well, who really have the final say in a lot of ways as to what gets put out there for the world to see. And criticize.
However, both Chad and I would love some feedback from anyone out there who has a passing curiosity in this sort of thing. For you photography buffs out there, you might be surprised that she used only natural light: no studio lighting or fancy equipment. And she used a reflector on only a few shots.
So if you're willing, please let us know what you think. Our shots are up on flickr, mine are here and Chad's are here. Feel free to leave comments on individual shots, or here on this blog. The most important thing is that each of the shots really look like us, and that they say something specific.
